Coupons are used to access or trigger special offers in ShowClix. There are five basic types of coupons:
Coupons do not work with Products.
Coupons can be created in the Manage section, and you can assign coupons for an event while on the Event Overview page. The options on this page will adjust depending on which coupon type is selected.
A note on formatting: Coupon codes must be 5 characters or more and are not case-sensitive. They are also limited to alphanumeric and these special characters: (-,_)

Note: The coupon submission field on a ticket purchase page will only appear if there is a current active coupon. Coupon codes cannot be tested before an active start date.

The event organizer still incurs back-end service fees on all comp tickets issued.
