The point of sale and box office software are designed to efficiently process ticket sales through various channels, including phone, in-person, email, and mail order, ensuring speed and security.

The Box Office section in the Admin is visually distinct, with its menus and navigation, providing a dedicated space. This self-contained point-of-sale system is specifically designed for event transactions, allowing staff members to process transactions without requiring access to the Admin interface.

Box Office is also available for iOS devices and Android tablets. The information here applies to both mobile and web versions of Box Office.

The following features are not available in the iPhone version of Box Office:

Inventory

The new box office layout exposes the remaining inventory on events and price levels by default. Each price level will show the amount of tickets available at that price, but if that limits are not set on each price level, the limit shown will be the total event inventory.

To set price level limits, go to the Inventory step in event creation.

Tools

The buttons in this section at the bottom of the box office appear after you cart a ticket and are based on a users specific permissions. They allow you to apply coupon codes, manual discounts, add a fee and donations, as well as enter a comment about the order during the checkout process. Please note that you can only apply coupon codes, products, donations, etc. to an order when they have been activated for the selected event.

Cart

Located on the right side, as you begin to process an order, the details of that order — including the event, number of tickets, donation amount and fees — will appear in this pane. If you need to edit an order, click Edit in the upper right.

After checkout, you will see a confirmation screen.
